YOUR GARAGE

Settings

Set up your bikes and choose how OpenGravel works on this device.

DISPLAY

Day / Night

Day is bright and high-contrast for riding in sunlight. Auto follows your phone.

OPTIONAL MUSIC

Spotify

Control your music from the ride screen. OpenGravel never sees your Spotify password. Playback controls need Spotify Premium.

Use your own Spotify app (advanced)
  1. In the Spotify Developer Dashboard, create an app and enable Web API.
  2. Add this exact callback URL:

https://your-open-gravel-host.example/api/spotify/callback

  1. While the app is in Development Mode, add your Spotify account to its allowed users (up to five; the app owner needs Premium).
  2. Paste the app's public client ID here and save.

Only the public client ID is stored, in this browser. Never paste a client secret. The iPhone app uses its own built-in registration.

GARAGE

A ride keeps the bike settings it was planned with. Changing your garage affects new rides.

PRIVACY

Usage data

Off

If you acknowledge this, OpenGravel records the actions you take, broad duration, distance and latency bands, error classes, capability status and the build version, plus selected autocapture and approximate location derived from your network address. It can also include a session replay that records what the screen shows.

Never collected: passwords and passkey secrets, sign-in tokens, raw GPX data, recording geometry, full route geometry, imported file names, ride or account identifiers, and server secrets.

A session replay shows the map exactly as you see it, so map pixels and the map viewport can reveal the geographic context of where you plan and ride. Acknowledge this only if that is acceptable.

Until you acknowledge this, OpenGravel only counts anonymous page visits (no actions, no errors, no replay). Everything above stays off until you acknowledge, and you can turn it off again at any time.
